2. Description of Service

CVprofi is an AI-powered CV creation tool that helps users create professional German CVs (Lebenslauf) and motivational letters. The Service includes:

  • AI-assisted CV content generation
  • Multiple CV templates
  • PDF export functionality
  • Motivational letter generation
  • Cloud storage for your documents

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service (CVs, letters, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Use anonymized data to improve our AI models

You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI to generate and enhance content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may require review and editing
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI suggestions
  • AI output should not be considered professional advice

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Create false or misleading CV content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by CVprofi and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVprofi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
